Glove Construction
In reviewing our glove line you will notice that we carry many styles manufactured from a variety of leathers, cotton, and synthetic substances. There is no one glove manufactured that covers all needs. A particular glove may perform well under one set of circumstances and poorly under another. A glove that offers a high degree of cut and tear resistance may be stiff and difficult to work in. It is important to properly match the glove with it's intended use. One of the first questions we consider here is whether the gloves are to be used for physical protection or chemical protection. For chemical protection a glove must be liquid proof. Glove materials and styles vary in their resistance to chemicals. See our Chemical Resistance Chart and Skin Hazard Data Chart for more information.
