PIP receives Supplier of the Year-Marketing Excellence at AD North American Meeting

October, 2010 - Affiliated Distributors (A-D), North America's largest independent distributor network, held its Spirit of Independence Awards ceremony for the Industrial Supply Division on September 20th, 2010.

Held annually in conjunction with A-D's North American Meeting, the Spirit of Independence Awards recognize individual Affiliates and Suppliers who have excelled in marketing, performance, and/or leadership.

"The North American Meeting brings together a select group of the industry's leading distributors and suppliers, who by association make each other better and stronger. I think our meeting theme 'Iron Sharpens Iron' served to underscore this point and says a lot about the value of relationships forged through A-D and meetings like this one" said Stuart Mechlin, Senior-Vice President of the Industrial Supply Division. "The Spirit of Independence Awards gives us the chance to recognize our top performers in several areas."

Marketing awards were presented for Best Annual Planning Process, Marketing Excellence, Best Conversion to an A-D Supplier, and Excellence in Local Support.
