Outside Sales Representation

PIP has highly knowledgeable representative organizations throughout the country to increase distributor presence at the end user level. These professionals can conduct training for distributor personnel using training packages, conduct glove surveys at end user locations, assist in identification of competitive products and help create programs designed to put the profit in gloves for you.

Electronic Data Interchange

Use EDI to place orders, procure goods and pay bills. PIP currently offers the following EDI transactions:

Purchase Orders (EDI Document 850) – Inbound from Trading Partner
P.O. Acknowledgement (EDI Document 855) Outbound to Trading Partner
Advance Shipping Notice (EDI Document 856) Outbound to Trading Partner
Invoice (EDI Document 810) Outbound to Trading Partner

Order Processing

Distributor orders are entered continually through the day and shipments are made against those orders. Invoices are faxed overnight reflecting the items ordered, quantity shipped and billing price. Freight carrier and tracking information is included on the faxes. We believe that providing our customers with timely and accurate information empowers you to manage your business more effectively.

Shipping

PIP ships from distribution centers in our headquarters facility in Guilderland Center, NY and our facilities in Rancho Cucamonga,CA and Memphis, TN. They are positioned to support 85% of our customers within 48 hours of an order. All of our DC’s utilize

4-tiered racking, a common ERP system and are sized as follows:

Guilderland Center – 165,000 square feet
Memphis – 165,000 square feet, and
Rancho Cucamonga – 60,000 square feet

Global Sourcing

PIP markets products from our own factory here in the US along with a network of manufacturers in China, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India, Japan, Taiwan and others. These sources build products to our specifications and ship them as we instruct. We don’t buy “off-the-shelf bargains”.
